A proud North Texas native, Dr. Stephanie Vera graduated from Plano West Senior High before attending the Barrett Honors College at Arizona State University where she graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Biological Sciences.
After graduation, she returned home to Dallas and received her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry. For Dr. Vera, dentistry is about more than just clinical excellence—it is about family and connection. She loves treating families, watching kids grow up, and becoming a trusted partner in her patients' lifelong health.
Dedicated to patient education and creating beautiful smiles, Dr. Vera also specializes in easing dental anxiety. Her warm, patient-first approach is designed to calming fears and ensuring that every visit is a positive, stress-free experience.

Dr. Stephanie Vera and her husband, Kevin, strive to set a good example for their three sons — Colin, Daniel, & Ryan — through community involvement and providing for those in need.
You can often find Dr. Vera and her family at the library or a nearby park.
When not focused on dentistry, Dr. Vera loves traveling, reading, and satisfying her sweet tooth.
While providing great dentistry is one way to make our community smile, the team at Lone Star Smiles believes that we can do so much more.
When we aren’t in the office, we like to spend our time supporting our local schools, the Wylie Animal Shelter, Texas Mission of Mercy, and the Give Kids a Smile program.
